Ditching

In 2005 the Ditching Crew was able to get caught up on most outstanding requests.  This is in large part due to several factors.  The County Engineer purchased a new Gradall ditching machine to complement the existing older equipment.  This allows for little or no down time due to equipment failure, and provides a tremendous tool for other crews to use when both pieces of equipment are up and running.  Power Ditching (rotary blade) with help from the Mow/Trim Crew helped ditching some of the rural areas around the county.
